Guild Government

Introduction
The cornerstone of the Azerothian Protectorate is its clearly ordered and defined chain of command. Establishing logical lines of communication and delegating roles and responsibility to competent and willing individuals strengthens our union and best promotes our potential. Fealty to the axiom “Guild Before Greed” empowers us to challenge our individual limitations.

.

THE BODY OF GUILD MEMBERS
The body of the Azerothian Protectorate’s guild membership is comprised of Initiates, Guild Members, Senior Guild Members, and Senators.

Initiate
Initiate guild members are probationary applicants to the guild. After serving this role for a period of time and distinguishing themselves by their reasonable contributions to the guild they will be promoted to the general status of Guild Member.

Initiates have limited access to guild bank Tab 1, and may only view items in Tab 2.

Guild Member
Guild Members are the prize of the Azerothian Protectorate. Simply put, without guild members, there is no guild.

Members enjoy the collective fruits of the guild’s labor. Guild Members have limited daily access to guild bank Tab 1 and Tab 2, and may view items on Tab 3. Items from Tab three may be requested of any guild Officer. Guild members are welcome to invite new members into the guild.

Senior Guild Member
Having distinguished themselves by their conspicuous involvement in and contributions to the guild, Senior Guild Members are the highest order of general Guild Member. Having served as Guild Members for a period of time, candidates for Senior Guild Member status are nomination by their peers. Their status is ratified by a vote of Guild Officers and the Senate, and their status may only be revoked by Senior Guild Officers.

Senior Guild Members enjoy increased access to guild bank Tab 1, Tab 2, and Tab 3. Requests made by Senior Guild Members will be met with as much accommodation as can be afforded.

Note: Senior Guild Member status is the highest member status in the guild that’s absolutely free of committed, ongoing obligation to the guild’s government. Senior status is recommended to any and all players that wish to dedicate themselves to PvP, raids or the like but wish to forgo the burdens of Senator status.

Senator
The highest rank of non-commissioned guild member belongs to the Senator. Enjoying all of the privileges available to Senior Guild Members, Senators also have access to discussions in the guild’s Officer Chat channel. Senators are welcome to participate in discussions relating to the ongoing development of the guild, as well as other Officer Chat discussions. Senators may also nominate candidates for senior Guild Member status.

Senators are appointed at the discretion of the Guild Master.

THE BODY OF GUILD OFFICERS
The body of the Azerothian Protectorate’s Guild Officers is comprised of Officers and Class Masters, and includes the senior offices of Treasurer, Head Master, and Guild Master. All of these offices require an ongoing commitment to the management, development and growth of the guild.

Officer
Guild Officers share the responsibility of governing the guild. As time permits, all Officers are encouraged to take an active and direct hand in assisting guild members to level. Officers have the ability to invite new members and they have the authority to promote and demote Initiates to Guild Member status. Officers have access to the guild’s Officer Chat channel and are expected to lend their experience and opinions to topics of discussion relating to guild development and management. They have increased access to the resources in the guild bank.

Guild offices are appointed by the Guild Master.

Class Masters (CM)
AP’s Class Masters are specialized guild officers. Appointed directly by the Guildmaster, Class Masters assist in promoting the interests of each of AP’s individual class segments. As advocates of their respective class segments, Class Masters serve as liaisons between the guild membership and AP’s governing body. CM’s report directly to the Guildmaster and advise courses of action that promote the interests of their prospective class.

CM’s enjoy all of the priviledges given to Officers and have the authority and ability to recruit, promote, demote and expel members in their class segment, at their discretion. As ranking officers, Class Masters are expected to lend their experience and opinions to topics of discussion relating to guild development and management. CM’s are expected to be experienced within their chosen class. CM’s should be willing and available to answer questions relating to their class as well directly assisting the guild members of their respective class.

Treasurer (T)
By special appointment, the Guild Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the guild’s bank account. Requests from guild members relating to the guild bank account should be first be directed to Guild Officers. If Guild Officers are unable to fulfill the request the petition should be directed to the Treasurer.

Headmaster (HM)
AP’s Headmaster (HM) is the second highest authority on all matters relating to the guild, reporting directly to the GM. In the event that the Guildmaster is unavailable, the HM is the primary authority.

Guildmaster (GM)
The Azerothian Protectorate’s Guildmaster is the final authority on all matters relating to the guild. The Guildmaster appoints all members of AP’s governing body, and shapes the direction and structure of the guild.
